Cybersecurity Center Government Agency

The Center was initially established under the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the state institution “Information Security Assurance Center.” In accordance with Resolution No. PQ-1989 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 27, 2013, and Resolution No. 250 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 16, 2013, the Center began its activities as a non-profit organization in the form of a state institution.

Subsequently, pursuant to Resolution No. PQ-3245 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in order to implement the “Safe City” project using modern technologies and establish a unified hardware and software complex, the “Information Security Assurance Center” under the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan was reorganized as the “Center for Assistance in Ensuring Information Security and Public Order.”

Following this, in accordance with Resolution No. PQ-4024 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Technical Assistance Center” operated as a State Unitary Enterprise under the State Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Informatization and Telecommunications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Pursuant to Resolution No. PQ-4452 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 14, 2019, the “Cybersecurity Center” operated as a State Unitary Enterprise during 2019–2026.

Following its transformation into a state institution in accordance with the relevant decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Cybersecurity Center” currently operates as a state institution.
