Uzbekistan and APT Satellite Sign Cooperation Agreement on Satellite Communications

🔠 As part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, a meeting was held between Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, and Wang Hongbin, Executive Director and President of APT Satellite Company Limited (APSTAR). The meeting focused on the development of satellite communications, the advancement of telecommunications infrastructure, and expanding cooperation across Central Asia.

📌 During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing the satellite communications market in Uzbekistan, APT Satellite’s business plans in the country, as well as opportunities to leverage the company’s existing and future satellite resources for the development of Uzbekistan’s telecommunications infrastructure.
