Previously he has held senior SEO roles at global companies such as Microsoft and BOLD, where he was responsible for driving organic search growth and acquisition across multiple brands and markets. He has also founded and managed several online projects of his own, such as FavoriteWords.com, a website that helps people improve their lives by discovering and sharing their favorite words.

Shavkat founded IT Community of Uzbekistan in partnership with IT Park with the vision of creating world-class IT products and solutions that improve the quality of human life. Since January 2023, he has been leading the community's strategy, operations, and events, engaging with thousands of members, partners, and stakeholders, and promoting IT as a key driver of economic and social development in Uzbekistan.
