Izzat Shukurov has been appointed as General Manager of Yandex Uzbekistan, where he will focus on expanding Yandex’s current services and exploring new opportunities for users and businesses in Uzbekistan.

Prior to this role, Izzat was Managing Director at Newmax Technologies, leading the launch of key projects including Maxtrack (a fleet management system), Workly (a time and attendance system), MyTaxi (Uzbekistan’s first taxi aggregator), and Express24 (a food delivery service).

Izzat also managed the Central Asian region for fintech company Payze and is the founder of Tashkent Financial Group. His background includes significant experience in project management, business strategy, and development.
