The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is a direct administration institution under the Minister of Economics of Latvia. It aims to boost export and competitiveness of Latvian companies, attract foreign investment, and promote tourism and innovation. At ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2024, LIAA’s Start-up Support Department will participate. LIAA aids in transforming innovative ideas into businesses, raises awareness of the Latvian start-up community abroad, supports start-ups in exhibitions and conferences, and organizes informational and educational events both in Latvia and internationally. It also offers a "start-up visa" for non-EU founders wishing to launch their ideas in Latvia.
